arc4 Enterprises works with local people and helps them implement individual enterprises as well as community plans.
One of the ways that differentiates us from other consultancies is that we like to get involved in implementation and support for delivering the ideas and plans that have won local support. So not only do we work with you to identify and quantify problems, and action plans, we also help individuals and groups to find their own solutions through enterprise. Whether this is through bringing derelict buildings back into community use, setting up a social enterprise or creative use of design to bring an area back into focus, we enjoy rolling our sleeves up.
Many of our Directors and Associates have set up for profit and not for profit companies ourselves, we know what is involved and what the pitfalls are. We created arc4 Enterprises to provide support for like minded people in your community.
A social enterprise is any business or firm that trades for a social purpose.
It is estimated that there are 55,000 social enterprises in the UK, contributing 5% of all business. This amounts to £27 billion or almost 1% of the GDP.
