David Cumberland, Director, B.Sc, M.Sc

David is a specialist in Housing and Community Regeneration, including strategy, policy development and delivery. He led the production of guides to the Local Authority Strategic Housing role for IDeA and is now helping clients with the the impact of the 'credit crunch' and new changing regional structures and planning systems. He has extensive experience of the application of policy at all levels of government and brings  realistic, well informed advice to clients.

David was previously Director of David Cumberland Housing Regeneration Ltd (DCHR) established in January 2001. This followed over 20 years of successful management experience as Group Director at the Places for People Group, Regional Director (North West) at the Housing Corporation and senior posts in housing strategy, policy and programme management for several Local Authorities.
