Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council

We have received notification from CLG that our bid for Migration Impact Fund has been successful. This means Blackburn with Darwen gets £227,297 in this year, and if funding is later confirmed, £154,818 in the next year, which is everything we asked for - £380,115 in total if the second year is approved.

A month had gone past the time when we were supposed to have been told, so we had been giving up hope. But hope springs eternal!

Thanks to Helen Brzozowski from arc4, who we commissioned to bring these proposals together - and who obviously was a good choice to do such a good job in limited time.
