We have been joined by an Associate Director Simon Mitchell an expert in housing markets and economic viability and have been busy working with several Councils, Registered Providers and developers and to develop workable development schemes in the down turn.
We have taken innovative approaches that:

Consider different delivery vehicles and options using public assets

New forms of funding such as Regional Growth Funds and New Homes Bonus

Introduced unique approaches involving interest free loans to fund schemes for developers.
Recent commissions include Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East, Tameside, Sunderland and Rochdale for which we have also carried out the SHMA work. These prove to be interesting times with much discussion surrounding issues such as land values, changing house prices and apartments.
