New Affordable Housing Guide on the web!

arc4 are working on the last stages of a commission to create a website for Local Government Yorkshire and the Humber to allow local authority officers across the region access to policies, guidance and advice on all aspects of their affordable housing work.

The guide has been designed to offer practical support and guidance in delivering affordable housing through the development control process.

The guide is aimed at those new to affordable housing, as well as experienced officers; and it is also designed to let users 'dip in and out' of sections to seek clarification and advice about various elements within the overall process.

The web site includes guidance around a series of questions offering best practice examples and templates to support staff and a comprehensive glossary of terms. Very useful for the new user!

The guide is being rolled out over the next months and we are also looking at ways to extend its availability.
